Hi, I’m wondering if someone can help me.
I have downloaded Vyke Pro on to my mobile for the text messaging and am trying to refill my account. I filled in my details on the computer but when I attempted to send some messages I was told that my balance was to low. Now, on the webpage, when I log in it says balance so and so even though I cannot send any messages through Vyke. I only noticed afterwards that I can refill my account through my mobile, but I don’t want to pay twice.
Sorry for the long message but if anyone can suggest some help, I’d appreciate it. BTW I already contacted Vyke but received little to no help at all.

I’m a bit surprised by the inaccuracies in this review. I am a subscriber to vykepro and suggest the reviewer properly examine the features available for all its mobile solutions available in vykepro. It not only allows mobile handsets to transmit VOIP (mobile IP) for free in the case of IP to IP , but also allows callback telephony connection (SMS or IP triggers) from your telephone for as low as 4c unlimited call duration to select countries. Also, its text service is second to none as it allows international text for 2c and free texts between vyke subscribers.
I shall not be referring back to this site again as it’s information is so poorly checked before publication.

I have the same experience as Tayo. Whenever I try to send a text message, I get the ‘SMS Charge failed. Please refill your account’ although I have money in my Vyke account.
The odd thing is that I am able to make calls to the exact same US cellphone number that I tried to text, using Vykepro with GPRS and my account was debited with the $ 0.24/min. Strange!
The call I made lasted for about 5 minutes before my opponent hung up. I then checked out the various Vykepro features only to realize 10 - 12 minutes later that my handset was still on. I got charged for an 18 min. call !! Duh !

Hi guyz I wanna share my experience with vyke.It provides a wonderfull VoIP services around the world and that too with cheapest rates.Moreover its PER CALL funda instead of per minute call is just awesome.I recommend all of you to use it.Thats all i wanted to share.

This is a nice and good quality mobile voip service, i think this one is good opportunity for some of us how always really concise about the international calls. i discuss with you the experience i got on this service through my rating. recently i got a news regarding vopium ( www.vopium.com ) a same feature mobile VoIP, believe me i got some awesome services, clear voice and cheaper then other in cost. i don’t know what your experience about this at least i really enjoyed and happy with this.

Vyke is really good solution for those who control their phone bills, especially international calls. When compared with some other providers vyke’s call rates are high. My main calling destination is India, though, the quality nad reliability really scores high.

I must say the sound and ease of use are excellent. When it comes to customer service they lack all kinds of support. They have restricted my use due to some internal problem where all my credit card payments were authorized by my bank and still they have blocked my phone. Their customer service has one automatic response which restricts their capability of serving their customers.

I’m using this service because a client was built-in to my Nokia E75. The price is quite good to North America..I don’t see anything else offering a price per hour cost.
Quality of the connection is sporatic and is either terrible or terrific…unfortunately some days there are more terrible connections and I have to try connecting 3 times…once I get a good connection the quality beats anything else that I’ve used. When the connection is not good it is not useable at all!

I just love this product, Vyke just released some new features and am now using Vyke mobile on my Blackberry, which works superb
Vyke is cheap and easy to use. I even find the support at vyke as very good! They have improved amazingly!

the price for a landline paid phone: 0,03 EU/hour
That’s OK!
BUT
the price for a free landline phone number: 0,40 or something per MINUTE!
Costumerservice can not explain this and this is why I do not recommend vyke. I only use it for sms.
for the other part I selected the different Betamax clones. They offer cheap calls!

I’ve used it now for over a year and have had no real issues. Just noticed since June 2010 the rate went up from $.04 to $.10/h. Still a cheap solution for international calls. And though sometimes the call quality is not always good, I’m pleased with the overall service.
I will recommend it to anyone.

I have downloaded the software and all tested, but couldn’t top up my account, it says decline everytime , i have tried with credit card, debit card and wrote to customer support vyke also, no response, 4 days has spend. vyke customer support asks for filling the payment form carefully..!! is it a joke..means this is the solution, i have tried more then 8 time to get it recharge.
while i will be back to india from switzerland then there is no mean of this service to me.
how they doing i don’t know.

Good product and service: different payment methods, different calling platforms suiting all needs: PC dialler, Mobile apps, web services, etc… Premium call quality, extremely easy to use with just the right amount of features (you want to call, SMS you don’t need to run a marathon). I’ve contacted Customer Service and I have always had a timely response really straight to the point, no mess, no blah, blah, blah, just the key to my issue… and it always worked. Regarding the price, the vyke zone is a fantastic service with calls for only 25 cents per HOUR!!!! There is nothing similar in the market!

I have been waiting a long time for an Android app as all my iPhoners friends were bullying me showing off they were able to use Vyke… well it was worth to wait! Now Vyke got the Android App as well
Internationals calls and SMS here I come…finally!
Apart from that enthusiasm I have to say that the app is working pretty well and has the same features the iPhone one has. It seems to be even a bit faster but it’s a matter of second and it could even be that my Samsung has a faster processor.
The quality is good and I have experienced only some difficulties while on WiFi but it might have been because of the quality of Starbucks network.

The Vyke app works perfectly on the iphone and with the new update it has vastly improved. Great customer service and good and reliable call quality.

I’ve made a lot of survey … and this is by far the worse … call drops … jittering and etc …guys you’ll need to improve on your QUALITY!!! or buck up!!!

Generally a good app to download on mobile- easy to use and very versatile- customer queries raised were handled very quickly. Reliability - inconsistent and sound poor. Needs tweaking but performance overall good.

Vyke mobile ” what a amazing product” can use it all the time, i did use once on the plane over the WIFI.
rates and quality awesome, I used to use the application more when I’m traveling and i do save a lot of money on roaming.
I think this application going to be the future of Telecom Technology.

This is a very good service with good rates. If you have to make the same calls with other services you end-up paying more. This service is so convenient because you can call internationally from your mobile at very cheap VoIP prices…

All I can say is that I can’t believe my international calls are cheaper than my local calls thanks to Vyke!!! They are reliable, convenient and cheap. And their support guy, some Julian Ruiz who always replies to my emails is always helpful and very friendly! Well done Vyke!

I’ve tried other products in the past but using this this on my Laptop, iPhone and even the wifes bog standard Samsung really works for me - so much so that I’m actually filling this out now. Plus I see they’ve just launched a refer-a-friend thing - so more free credit here I come…!

I find it amazing calling my family in spain- at only 15p per hour and voice quailty is great- why have not more people heard about Vyke? I will definitely tell my friends in Finland too. Also downloading on my new iphone- was a very a good experience.

I downloaded this app on my new symbian phone and hae to say pleassantly surprised. Easy to use and once I got started making calls to Spain and France- could not believe the value for money. Also - I was impressed how quickly customer services solved my problem.

Tried vyke as friend works there- overall very good app- prices much better than skype and other competitors- SMS very cheap- amazing! tested customer services and a certain Julian spoke with and emailed me- this was reall good customer support. Feattures of app- are amazing- what lets it down is inconsistent call quality- a shame because sometimes i get through and voice and sound quality are great- other times interference on line. Call through is better than wifi.

been using the app on my blackberry since April 11 and am generally very pleased with the service. it’s easy to use, you call while on the go, no need to scratch cards, enter pins or stop to change your sim card! That is the most important thing for me - the ease of use. Then of course, the value for money, which it is - no doubt - with 15p per hour to 25 countries, and 4p for SMS. no hidden connection fees, which I found awful with scratch cards, online account, easy to top up and view call history. would definitely reccommend! keep up the good work

A great way to save money when making calls abroad. So easy to use and there is no need to stop and change sim cards which is something that really appealed to me. Better than other companies I have used in the same market.

I used Callserve till it was taken over by Vyke. At first the service was ok but now I’m looking for an alternative. Just today I clicked “Call” and the call timer started ticking even before I heard the ringing tone. As there was no answer after about 40 seconds had elapsed I clicked to hang up then went to check my account and, lo and behold, I was charged for the “no” call. I tried again a few minutes later and lost another 15p.
I’ve asked for a refund. Sort it out Vyke - I’ve tried to stick with you but charging me for calls I don’t make? Come on!

This is a very easy of use service, not many features but it does what it says on the tin. Good response times from support.
